I've been a fan of Holly Lauren since I was in High School.  I thought, what better way to transition back into San Diego living than with a feature about a local (amazing) 

San Diego designer.  I recently got to chat with the busy mom of 3 about her to die for jewelry line as well as a few questions about her awesome style and beauty secrets.

What Neta Loves: Introduce yourself and Holly Lauren.

Holly Lauren: I'm a 30 year old, coffee drinking, thrift store shopping and God loving mommy of three. I'm the designer behind Holly Lauren, which I started back in 2003.

WNL: What inspired you to create Holly Lauren?

HL:I started the business while working as a waitress and putting myself through design school. I had always loved making jewelry since I was a little girl,and found people wanting to buy what I was making.

WNL: Where can you buy Holly Lauren?

WNL: What is inspiring your line right now?  Are you loving any trends you can't help but channel?

HL: I'm way more simple now, which reflects my current look, but I'm loving the trend of the side cross and anything rose gold!!

WNL: Your favorite go-to piece from your Fall line?

HL: I'm loving my three piece cream collection! I'm currently sold out for the next couple of weeks!;)

WNL: Go-to shopping spots (west, east, or anywhere in between)?

HL: I'm a thrift store shopper, loving Amvets, flashbacks, and platos closet!

WNL:  Are you a bargain shopper for seasonal pieces or do you splurge on one big purchase?

HL: I'm a bargain shopper when it comes to fashion. I'm not a brand person, so I feel I can get away with something from forever 21 that looks like it came from a high end boutique.

WNL:  What must you have in your closet for Fall?

HL: Military Jackets! I actually have my Grandmas, when she served in WW2... Which makes it a priceless vintage piece... And in fashion all at the same time.

WNL: What is your best Fall/Winter trick with your hair and skin?

HL: I splurge on makeup! I swear by Chanel  concealer and there coverup year around! Hair for fall is going a little darker... Stay tuned on my instagram to see how dark;)
