Simple Times....

I originally started going through my iPhoto to find the very first photo Jeff and I ever took; instead I found every other million photo we have taken and Boston photos that made me happy, sad, remorseful, thankful and every other emotion inbetween.....
-Jeff's cheap beer of choice on a warm summer day-

-living room table + blooming roses-

-a lil snow never hurt 'nobody-

-rainy day Red Sox game-

-who says the east coast doesn't get a good sunset?-

-our home + our monster-

Thankful for 2011

2011 has been a year of so much.  I can leave it feeling accomplished, grateful, and loved.  There has been so much change, tough transitions, and amazing opportunities.
Jeff, Charlie, and I are skipping town and bringing in 2012 with family and champagne.
I typically make goals rather than resolutions when it comes to a new year and 2012 will be no different.
+ Put time towards some sort of exercise daily.
+ Give up Diet Coke (eeeeek!)
+ Spend weekends jet setting-- or road tripping.
+ Continue to keep negative energy out, and quality-amazing people in.
+ Donate time to a shelter.
+ Take Yoga & remember to always breathe.

2012 is going to be a year for the books.  I just feel it.

better late than never...

I ran off to San Diego for a long weekend.  It was amazing to be with family [ jess + brett, I wish you guys were with us ].  There was tennis, there were mimosas while baking, there was shopping + more shopping, there was lots of wine, there was hiking, there were loads of sweets, there were home videos, and so much love.  There are times I get down, there are times I am so overly stressed, there are times I question why we moved back to California but then I remember, I am blessed with an amazing family, boyfriend, and close social circle.  We've created a home.  A new chapter.  A job I've longed for since I was a young girl, even if it is exhausting and crazy.  An unfriendly dog who is so loyal and loves unconditionally but asks for so little; an outdoor adventure, a trick for a treat, a simple game of fetch.  And, to my loyal Neta Loves readers, thank you for reading and coming back daily, [ even when I don't write for a few days, oops, sorry ] and supporting something I take so much pride in and find oh so therapeutic.
Here's to being thankful everydayevery minute. every second.
