| labor day: east coast style |

happy labor day!! we've been back on US soil for a few days but have no fear the traveling continues!  We have been in Boston and today we'll be heading up to Vermont to celebrate labor day with some friends.  The weather in Boston has been mild but very humid but none the less; amazing.  I hope you all have the day off and are enjoying the long weekend. xx, E

I'm a bit behind on my travel diary: while in venice our internet connection was s....l.....o......w.  like, I couldn't upload photos.  SO, I'm back.  We just got to our villa in Tuscany, Italy.  It will be our home for the week and it is seriously AMAZING.  It sits on a hill in Spello / Umbria and it's a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of all the stops along the way.  It's hard to believe we've been gone for nearly 20 days.  I'm excited to enjoy this time in the hills of italy: there aren't many english speakers so....bring on the italiano!!!!!!

we are on the train on our way to venice.  it's a 4 hour train ride from rome - i'm looking forward to seeing venice; i've heard so many amazing things about it.  We were in rome for 3 days; today I'll be sharing our first full day: we had a private tour guide show us the vatican and went on to explore the ruins and colosseum.  wow. it was unbelievable.  the history, sculptures, art....everything.  enjoy the photos from roma!

hi, from London!  Yesterday we spent the day touring sites like big ben, buckingham palace and riding the eye- for those of you who haven't traveled to london they are all fairly close to one another.  we grabbed a grilled cheese sandwich at borough's market and sipped on pimm's at nearby pub.  i love london!  there is so much history, beauty and shopping. holy harrods.  it's like you've died and went to fashion heaven.  overwhelmingly awesome.  my sister and my brother in law get in this afternoon and i'm so excited.  1 more day in london then it's off to italy for a few weeks. xo
