CYBER MONDAY!

happy monday!  i hope you all had a great long weekend full of family, friends, love and lots of food.   i did a tiny bit of black friday shopping but i really wasn't feeling it-- jeff ended up dropping off my mom, sister and i at a local mall so we didn't have to deal with parking and that whole headache.  did you support small business saturday? i love all the small businesses in leucadia and along the coast.  and now: enter cyber monday.  is your inbox full of steals and deals?  i love shopping online especially during the holidays: i hate the crowds!  here are some of my favorite cyber monday deals...enjoy. xx

+ old navy // gap // banana republic : 40% off your online purchase. use the code CYBER at checkout. oh, piperlime is 30% sitewide & 40% sale. use the code CYBERSALE at checkout.  currently in my basket: this oversized cardigan, dress, trench

+ jcrew : 30% off full price pieces plus 40% off sale. use the code MONDAY at checkout. drooling over this stadium-cloth coat in forrest green, my go-to annual set of pajammies; loving this set.

+ vince : 25% off entire site. use the code UNWRAP25 at checkout. i'm eyeing this and this.

+ nordstrom : up to 40% off your online purchases plus double points (10 points on the dollar if you are a level two member).  i love that nordstrom doesn't jam black friday down our throats but i must say i've always loved this rebecca minkoff tote [ now 40% off! ],  i also love these boots.

happy shopping!

happy monday, guys!  a color and fall trend i can't get enough of is green.  i painted my nails this color last night and can't wait to wear my forest green puffer vest when jeff and i go on our fall vaca.  i find greens to be somewhat of a neutral-- especially a forest shade and it goes with just about everything.  i hope you all have a great week. xo.

exploring beautiful venice

another day in venice was filled with loads of bridges and following this guide.  there is so much amazing architecture in italy.  I have found a huge addiction in european doors and terraces: the doors are all so unique (i'll do a "door" post later) and the terraces are filled with gardens, laundry and people enjoying life and it just seems so....peaceful.  i loved that in venice there were no cars.  Coming from Rome, France and UK you suddenly have an appreciation of the whole "i'm not going to get hit by a car today" mentality and it's nice. enjoy! xx

I'm a bit behind on my travel diary: while in venice our internet connection was s....l.....o......w.  like, I couldn't upload photos.  SO, I'm back.  We just got to our villa in Tuscany, Italy.  It will be our home for the week and it is seriously AMAZING.  It sits on a hill in Spello / Umbria and it's a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of all the stops along the way.  It's hard to believe we've been gone for nearly 20 days.  I'm excited to enjoy this time in the hills of italy: there aren't many english speakers so....bring on the italiano!!!!!!

exploring london

happy tuesday!! london was so awesome!  it reminded me of boston which obviously makes me happy :).  on our last day there we explored hyde park, the kensington palace and just wandered the streets.  Later in the day my sis and brother-in-law got into town so we saw big ben, the buckingham palace and all the other fun sites all over again.  We've been in rome for a few days and it's been absolutely dreamy. in the meantime enjoy london! arrivederci!!

last friday i went to my first car show: every friday night on grand ave in escondido people from all over bring their classic cars to this massive street party.  I kept my look super casual tying the whole outfit together with my new shoe; my vans!  Also, let's talk about my favorite bag; my Aloha Sunday + Apolis recyclable San Diego bag: I've piled groceries, blankets, clothes...you name it, I've been throwing it in this awesome reusable durable tote.  what's even more awesome about these bags is the company represents such an amazing message, read more here. // ps: they offer tons of different cities, so represent!
