THANKFUL FOR...
Today I helped a variety of women shop for their Thanksgiving outfit. I've never really done retail so it's been a little treat to step out of my usual job (we go into retail mode during Holiday season). While I was driving home from my 6th store of the day I got to thinking: 1- I feel so incredibly blessed to be employed 2- I feel even more blessed to help all these different women- It's amazing what a great top does to ones confidence! 3- Where in the heck has this year gone!!!?? and finally 4- What the heck am I planning on wearing Thursday? ...beat... black. I never know how many serving's of sweet potatoes or green been casserole I'll dive into ;)
*I drooled over #5 last year and got them in nude.
They are comfy, classic, and you can dress them up or down!
MY NON EXISTING FALL (MUST HAVES)
Yesterday my sister sent me a text telling me she 1- doesn't know how to shop anymore (I don't believe this) and 2- has no idea what to wear for Fall or Winter. She lives in St Paul and they are currently getting random freezing days and then a few hot days in between. Then this morning I woke up to an email from my girlfriend Nicole asking for shoe and coat advice. Her boyfriend just took a job in Boston and she's prepping for her chilly upcoming trips. Many of you know I love seasons, especially Fall, so I put together a few must haves to stay warm, look chic, and enjoy your chilly months. I didn't include bottoms BUT while living on the east coast I opted for winterized tights, jeans, and leather legging and of course I wouldn't be able to live without J.Crew's men camper socks. ♥ enjoy, Happy Fall!

BRIDAL SHOWER
With my sis' wedding just around the corner this weekend marks the beginning of the festivities. My Aunt and Cousin's are hosting an afternoon Bridal shower and I've totally procrastinated with my outfit choice. Again, I've been busy. I found a French Connection dress at Bloomie's last night, it ended up being the deal of the century and I couldn't bare pass it up but I just don't know if it's meant for my sister's bridal shower! But...here is what I have visioned for the Saturday soiree.

TOPSHOP + NORDSTROM
My sister just sent me a screen shot with a photo from instagram and a text reading, "Ahh! did you hear the news?" I didn't - but holy jesus this is exciting! The photo was from Nordstrom's account with a the first pieces from the Nordies + Topshop collab collection. I didn't think Neimans + Target could get topped and maybe it won't but this is just as cool and I'm extremely excited for it!

Guess? One World Event
I'm totally starting to stress; One World is next week and I've yet to start shopping for a cocktail dress; I can't decide if I want to stay somewhat safe and wear black with touches of pops color with a handbag, heel & nails or if I'm willing to take a risk and wear color- Earlier this week I chatted with The Skinny Confidential about the perfect LBD and I think this is what I'm leaning towards, they're safe, chic and stylish:
