happy tuesday!! london was so awesome!  it reminded me of boston which obviously makes me happy :).  on our last day there we explored hyde park, the kensington palace and just wandered the streets.  Later in the day my sis and brother-in-law got into town so we saw big ben, the buckingham palace and all the other fun sites all over again.  We've been in rome for a few days and it's been absolutely dreamy. in the meantime enjoy london! arrivederci!!

i've really been struggling with what to wear for my final days of work:  i've been so hot I just want to live in a swim suit and oversized tanks.  this outfit is a great look for my line of work but it also can transition into a great summer night look.

happy monday!  hope you all had an amazing july 4th weekend.  it was so hot by the beach that the weekend ended up being a lazy beached filled, kindle reading, cocktail drinking sorta daze.  if you follow me on instagram you saw me wearing this guess romper (which btw is on sale!) the other day.  it is so comfy and casual and easy to feel put together when the outfit is so simple.  i loved wearing it during the hot day because it was light and airy.  i've been buying a lot of rompers lately and think they are a great staple to add to your summer wardrobe!

guys: something big happened yesterday - i put in my notice at my job.  i've been with Guess? for 3 years (1 year as a handbag merchandiser and 2 years as a wholesale merchandiser) so this life transition is so exciting but also crazy.  there are many reasons why i've decided to leave my job and maybe this will sound cheesy but the main reason.... i want to chase my dreams: ya know take risks and not look back and have regrets.  although my job has had it's ups and downs like all jobs my biggest complaint is it's taken away my time.  i feel very fortunate that i am able to walk away from my job with the support of my husband and that i'll get to work with him (and bug him).  These next few weeks may get a bit crazy but i'm so excited for the next chapter and freedom. ps: happy July 1! woah.

a neighbor recently told us about the encinitas classic car night.  we have been to cruise'n grand but encinitas is our back yard so we were excited to learn about this fun summer outing.  So, Thursday we made it a date night: we headed to the car show, walked around then grabbed casual dinner and drinks at Regal Seagull.  anyway, we kept the night super casual and was a great way to start off our weekend.

the rest of our weekend was filled with gardening, home interior + exterior updates and organizing my pinterest boards (insert laughing emoji).  hope you all had a great weekend. xxoo

happy monday!  on friday jeff and i ran a bunch of errands to prepare for father's day.  it was such a beautiful day out i threw on this old flowy free people dress (don't worry, I found a few similar ones for you to shop) and fun guess gladiator sandals.  it was such a carefree comfy look and will basically become my summer uniform. anyway, hope you all had a great weekend xxoo

TGIF!!!  I am having a serious obsession with wearing blue and white.  the color combo is so versatile: it can be nautical, crisp, playful, dressed up, dressed down, etc... in my opinion, this duo can do it all.  I'm starting to brainstorm what I will be packing for our memorial day getaway and i keep gravitating to these two.  am i the only one totally obsessing over the whole blue and white vibe?  have a great weekend!
