holy moly paris, i love you. I was sad to leave paris yesterday but we packed up our things, jumped on the euro star train and away we went to the UK. Wednesday we played the total tourist roll: we got on the metro, (a large task in itself. i kept saying to my dad "I feel like I'm on amazing race") saw all the wonderful sites: notre damn cathedral, the louve and the eiffel tower---to name just a few. We ate macaroons, crepes, caprese baguettes, enjoyed latte's and eventually had an amazing proper french dinner. I will work on a travel guide when I return home from our travels but in the meantime here is a glimpse into our day:

happy monday! this weekend we were up in utah for business: i always get overwhelmed when it comes to packing for a convention- what is comfy, yet chic? what is really appropriate? how do i accessorize? etc...etc...etc... day 1 i opted for a very bold topshop leopard dress: it had a fun cut and pattern but also, it was so comfy. i paired it with my favorite calvin klein heel and went easy on the accessories. i can't tell you how many compliments i got: although it was a bit loud, it was fun, comfortable and still read as young business casual look. hope you all had a great weekend!

On monday i continued my spring trend favs with all things pink. this vince dress has such an amazing silhouette- it' so timeless and makes me feel so feminine...and really, how perfect is it for the big 28? This is a great dress for a wedding or function, it could even be paired with a flat sandal to dress it down a bit.

THANKFUL FOR...

Today I helped a variety of women shop for their Thanksgiving outfit. I've never really done retail so it's been a little treat to step out of my usual job (we go into retail mode during Holiday season). While I was driving home from my 6th store of the day I got to thinking: 1- I feel so incredibly blessed to be employed 2- I feel even more blessed to help all these different women- It's amazing what a great top does to ones confidence! 3- Where in the heck has this year gone!!!?? and finally 4- What the heck am I planning on wearing Thursday? ...beat... black. I never know how many serving's of sweet potatoes or green been casserole I'll dive into ;)

MY NON EXISTING FALL (MUST HAVES)

Yesterday my sister sent me a text telling me she 1- doesn't know how to shop anymore (I don't believe this) and 2- has no idea what to wear for Fall or Winter. She lives in St Paul and they are currently getting random freezing days and then a few hot days in between. Then this morning I woke up to an email from my girlfriend Nicole asking for shoe and coat advice. Her boyfriend just took a job in Boston and she's prepping for her chilly upcoming trips. Many of you know I love seasons, especially Fall, so I put together a few must haves to stay warm, look chic, and enjoy your chilly months. I didn't include bottoms BUT while living on the east coast I opted for winterized tights, jeans, and leather legging and of course I wouldn't be able to live without J.Crew's men camper socks. ♥ enjoy, Happy Fall!
