I am in love with these Headboards by Gold Coast Furniture- ( I am also in love with the ottoman's, chaise chairs, and storage that compliment the pieces amazingly). I am thinking about purchasing the light ash and white chevron headboard for our new, sianonara LA, beach house ..more on that later (!!!!) For $269 bucks I think it would add a nice new touch to our shabby chic, cozy, comfy, all white bedding.

When I think of my Grannie Fannie, I think of a loving, fashionable, amazing human being.
When she passed I knew I wanted to keep her fashion legacy alive by taking some of her key pieces that I knew would stay forever classics and always compliment my wardrobe. It was a sweet surprise to open up a few September issues and see that oversized wool cape-coats are an "it" piece for Fall/Winter. My Grannie Fannie always wore her oversized wool cape out to dinners, plays, or any outing to cover up her couture. I can't wait to wear it on the chilly east coast during holiday vacation.

My sister just sent me a screen shot with a photo from instagram and a text reading, "Ahh! did you hear the news?" I didn't - but holy jesus this is exciting! The photo was from Nordstrom's account with a the first pieces from the Nordies + Topshop collab collection. I didn't think Neimans + Target could get topped and maybe it won't but this is just as cool and I'm extremely excited for it!

COLLEGE GRADUATIONS!
I was chatting with my girlfriend Lauren last night about what kind of outfits she should pack for her weekend getaway to Colorado where she'll be watching her boyfriend's sister graduate from college. So I got to thinking, the actual graduation isn't going to be the fanciest of events, it's the dinner's and other events that follow. Madewell Fall Collection
I have a major obsession with Madewell. When I lived in Boston there was one walking distance from my apartment, I spent excess amounts of time there- I've made Jeff go with me during a snow emergency, had all the employee's going to my hair dresser and sometimes when I innocently wanted to go grab a morning coffee I'd somehow make a detour to just do a "browse".
Their Fall preview brings many mixed emotions to this sap... It makes me miss my Newbury strolls and East Coast style I so gladly adjusted to but also makes me so completely ecstatic because I know we'll be visiting Boston just in time for the Fall line to arrive!
