happy monday!!! oh man; monday's are such a great way to start a week fresh- i woke up this morning, went to the gym and man, i'm feeling amazing.  by now, it's no secret that i totally want some fall weather!  while watching the patriots game last night (wahoo, for the win!) holy moly paris, i love you.  I was sad to leave paris yesterday but we packed up our things, jumped on the euro star train and away we went to the UK.  Wednesday we played the total tourist roll: we got on the metro,  (a large task in itself.  i kept saying to my dad "I feel like I'm on amazing race") saw all the wonderful sites: notre damn cathedral, the louve and the eiffel tower---to name just a few.  We ate macaroons, crepes, caprese baguettes, enjoyed latte's and eventually had an amazing proper french dinner.  I will work on a travel guide when I return home from our travels but in the meantime here is a glimpse into our day:

ok...the nordstrom half yearly sale is one of my favorite little sales.  i headed to the first day of the sale yesterday and boy, was I like a kid in a candy store.  I was working so I had to shop with laser focus but I still managed to do some damage.  the shoe racks give me a little bit of anxiety but man, that's where it's at.  I managed to pick up an adorable pair of Tory Burch espadrilles and Vince sandals... equally in love with both.  They will be great shoes for all our upcoming traveling.  below are a few things i am just dying over...my poor online shopping bag, enjoy!

On monday i continued my spring trend favs with all things pink.  this vince dress has such an amazing silhouette- it' so timeless and makes me feel so feminine...and really, how perfect is it for the big 28? This is a great dress for a wedding or function, it could even be paired with a flat sandal to dress it down a bit.

Holiday Dresses

Every year I struggle with what I'll wear to different Holiday Parties.  This year I feel a bit more pressure; I'll be attending my first "big girl" work party.  To me, there is nothing more classic than a little black dress and that's exactly what I plan on wearing.
