WHAT I'M LOVING RIGHT NOW:

happy monday! tomorrow jeff and i are off to new england for a bit.  i've totally hit a packing funk: packing for cooler weather takes up so much more room in my luggage which makes you have to pack a bit more savvy.  with my sister being back in san diego we always find our way to a mall or doing some sort of shopping.  last week we spent an entire day shopping (exhausting) and she and i were both on a mission and we failed. i wanted a maroon felt hat and she wanted maroon pants.  we are both loving maroon and these two looks make me want to load up on lots more of it because it's great for fall and winter plus it's a great color for the upcoming holiday season!  hope you all have a great week. xx

exploring london

happy tuesday!! london was so awesome!  it reminded me of boston which obviously makes me happy :).  on our last day there we explored hyde park, the kensington palace and just wandered the streets.  Later in the day my sis and brother-in-law got into town so we saw big ben, the buckingham palace and all the other fun sites all over again.  We've been in rome for a few days and it's been absolutely dreamy. in the meantime enjoy london! arrivederci!!

spring festival season

I am so bummed we didn't get to Coachella this past weekend.  It one was of those things that got brought up multiple times and never executed.  festival style aka boho chic is everything right now;  I remember my first time at south by southwest years ago; although the music and energy was contagious  the fashion was bold, daring and forever memorable.  Later this week I am teaming up with Dani from See Dani Style to share our favorite festival styles but in the mean time I've put together a super easy packing list for any upcoming festival... and don't worry, if you can't get to a festival this year these outfits are totally acceptable for an everyday look:

Pack this!
Misc: Sunnies 1,2 | coverup | bikini | accessories 1,2 | extra crop
Don't forget you ankle bootiessunscreenhat// floral headband and water!

TRENDING FOR SPRING: TAKE 3

happy monday! I cannot believe we're already well on our way into April!  This week marks my birthday week- it's funny how quick these birthdays come and go.  Since I can remember, my dad has always reminded me to make every day count because the years just fly by: when I was younger I couldn't wait to be 16 to drive, 18 to be an adult, 21 to drink.....boy, he was right, time flies!
Anyway, the third trend I am so excited to talk about is all about pink!  I absolutely love pink but I sometimes fear it's not my best color: I much prefer a hot vibrant pink than a soft pink because of my skin tone but pink in any hue is huge for spring.  The great thing about this trend is you can wear accents, like a great handbag or shoe; like the valentino rock stud pump (which have been on my wish-list for forever) to get the trend across or wear a bright bold dress; it's really versatile and really screams spring!!

trending for spring, part two

happy monday!  I am so excited to talk about another trend for spring, I've been lusting over the matching trend set for sometime now and here's why: I think the matching set trend is so versatile; wear one on a tropical vaca with a crop top and skirt, throw on pants and a bomber for errands around town, or  spice up your boring office getup with a pencil skirt and peplum.  I also love that you can mix and match the pieces with solids to add newness to your spring wardrobe.  The best part about this trend is you can find a set at a trendy price point store or invest in one.  Pair these looks with a simple gladiator sandal or pump and your outfit in complete.

trending for spring: take 1

happy monday!  i am so excited about all the trends spring has to offer. in the coming weeks i will be doing multiple posts on spring trend inspirations and how I am implementing them in my spring wardrobe. I love love love denim on denim; it's a trend I think some are afraid to try but it can create a crisp fun look and it's such a no-brainer when it comes to putting together an outfit!
Don't forget to add a pop of color with a cute belt or a fun sandal

JUMP INTO 13 WITH H&M FITNESS LINE

I'm not going to lie- i love lulu lemon- bottoms & sports bra's specifically.  They fit perfectly, the bottoms don't sag, the sports bra's keep my (little) gal's in place, and i love that in bar method / yoga / pilates when I bend down you can't see my butt and or outline of my undies- unlike some of the gals next to me... but when I found out H&M  launched a fitness line I couldn't help but get a lil excited!  I've got to say they did not disappoint with bold prints, classic pieces, and great price point. $9.95-$39.95

HM + Versace

With less than a month before it hits stores [ November 17th ] Versace for HM became somewhat of a hit or miss for me.  I absolutely adore the black color pallet of dresses and the fun belts.  However, for me, I couldn't see myself wearing the bold patterned and bright design pieces, unless I was headed somewhere tropical.
